Dr. Scott understands that the dentist office can be an intimidating place and values creating a fun, informative, and safe environment for every patient. He is passionate about ensuring that every child has a fun and positive experience at the dentist as well as creating healthy, life-long dental habits.Dr. Scott Kamentiz was born and raised in Marlboro, NJ, and currently resides in New York City. He received his doctorate in Dental Surgery at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, graduating with honors in pediatric dentistry. His passion for pediatric dentistry was further enhanced while he was at NYU College of Dentistry on an outreach mission in Kathmandu, Nepal. During his time there, he fell in love with helping children improve their oral health while making the process fun and enjoyable. This life changing experience has set him on a course to help children in his community create lifelong oral habits that promote health, happiness and confidence.
After dental school, Dr. Scott received two years of advanced specialty training in pediatrics at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He has extensive experience practicing pediatric dentistry in a private practice setting and has made it his mission to redefine the modern pediatric dental experience in NYC.
